Organic World Congress – the right stage to present some key results of DOMINO

On 6-10 September, more  than 2,500 organic stakeholders, including farmers, researchers and policymakers have debated questions around crop resilience, organic farming and health during the Organic World Congress, the largest organic gathering on the subject, held in Rennes on 6-10 September 2021.

The OWC2021 has thus offered the possibility of exchanging knowledge on organic sustainable solutions. The Core Organic Cofund program was present organizing a workshop to highlight its contribution to the research in organic farming. Therefore, DOMINO, which was funded by the program, could not miss the occasion to present some of the results obtained!

A presentation entitled “Challenges for fertilization in organic fruit orchards” was delivered by Sabine Zikeli of Hohenheim University during the on-line workshop “Debating the future of nutrient management in organic farming” held on September 8. The same day, Davide Neri presented the row management with living mulch with the talk “Strawberry living mulch in organic vineyards” during the scientific forum “Cover crops and fertilization”.
