Every year, on the third weekend of September, Skierniewice, also called the Capital City of Polish Horticultural Sciences, organizes the Festival of Flowers, Fruits and Vegetables.
The event gathers people involved in horticultural production and gardeners from various regions of Poland.
This year the Festival took place on September 14-15 and on the first day, at the main scene of the "XXII Fair of Gardening and Agriculture" Dr Małgorzata Tartanus (PhD) introduced the DOMINO project assumptions and some preliminary results with a presentation "Improvement of biodiversity and pest management in organic fruit production ". The participants showed interest in the lecture and the subjects, asking numerous questions particularly on the methods for row management using officinal species and took part in the following conversation at the project’s stand.
