DOMINO at the conference "Protection of soil biodiversity as a condition for health of present and future generations" (Research Institute of Horticulture, Skierniewice, Poland)

On October 16 2019, a scientific conference entitled “Protection of soil biodiversity as the necessity for health of present and future generations” was held at the Research Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice.

The event gathered over 100 participants from all Poland. During one of the scientific sessions, prof. Eligio Malusá introduced the DOMINO project assumptions and presented the preliminary results of the observed changes in biodiversity of soil nematodes and microorganisms as affected by different fertilisation strategies using regionally available recycling fertilisers. The results of DOMINO project were also presented by Mgr. Dawid Kozacki with a poster entitled “Diversity of soil nematodes and the fertilisation management in the organic apple orchard”. The participants showed interest both in the lecture and the poster presentation.
